Chicago-- Baker Knapp & Tubbs has named Tara Voorhis director of merchandising-showrooms and stores, and David Kame director of finance and information technology.
Voorhis is responsible for merchandising 17 designer showrooms and 11 stores, including one in London. She will work with the locations to ensure that they have an effective assortment of both Baker and externally supplied products.
Most recently, she was with Napa, Calif.-based NapaStyle, a media company with a nationally distributed catalog and Internet business featuring custom-developed furniture made in the United States and Italy. She was senior director of product development and merchandising. Earlier, she held positions with Williams-Sonoma, Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn.
Kame joins the company from Greensboro, N.C.-based British Vita, where he was chief financial officer and treasurer-North American operations.
Voorhis and Kame report to Dan Bradley, president.
Baker Knapp & Tubbs includes Baker furniture, Baker Knapp & Tubbs Showrooms, and Baker Stores. It is part of the Kohler Interiors Group.
At market, Baker shows at 319 N. Hamilton St.
