Queenslanders have been warned to take summer heat seriously and look after their health.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman says health workers see too many heat-relatedcases and are concerned the same mistakes are being made every year.
She says the very young and elderly are most at risk of problems like heat-stroke,but people of all ages can be affected if they're not careful.
The ambulance service advises people to drink plenty of water, make sure their homesare well-ventilated and avoid outdoor activities like gardening during the hottest partof the day.
